Day 8
Today they took us to a gold Menorah that is complete and under glass. The scary part to me is they are now building the bread table to put back in the temple and you know what that means. All I can say is the trip was amazing I feel so much closer to our Lord and that was the purpose of going. We did go to the Holocaust Museum but that was too hard for me. It was a very vivid example of what happened and it is still hard for me to believe that we can be that ugly. We went to the Museum where they keep the Dead Sea Scrolls that was good and they also had a display of Jerusalem in Jesus' time 1/10 scale that was real nice. The words of Isaiah are the same in our bible today as the scroll isn't that wonderful so when someone tells you that we have changed through the years I can know tell them that's not true. I love that. I just don't know what else to say but you can feel his presence everywhere you go over there it's like you can touch him. I love absorbing as much as I can about our Jesus. I want to live his way with love and compassion for everyone. I want him to consume me so that my only thoughts are of him. I know his book is more alive for me know when I read I'm where he is to feel the love of his people and to discover all their struggles and now able to understand that there needs are great, they are surrounded by countries that hate them. It's amazing what they have been through and still are surviving. Jesus has to be with them or they would not be here. I hope you have enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed the trip. My prayer is that someone will read this and want to know this wonderful God our Lord and Savior Jesus. If you do you only have to ask Him to Love you and believe he died for you ask him to forgive you of your sins. That it He's amazing.
