Day 6
Today started out with a visit to Mt Olive. When we got there our guide handed us all a glass of wine and we toasted Jerusalem. That was really nice. Our Pastor Sam then sang an amazing song about how the blood of our Jesus was poured out for us so that we can make it to heaven. We then moved on down the hill to Gestemene . Where our Lord prayed in the garden. When we were in Nazareth they explained how you get the oil out of the olives and that it takes three presses to get all the oil out which is three four hundred pound rocks, Our Lord went and prayed in the garden for us three times feeling the pressure of that same oil press. That kind of pressure would of killed you and I but our Lord with stood it for us. No wonder he sweat blood. We then went on to Bethlehem where he was born because of the conflicts over there our guide was not able to go with us. We transferred buses so that we could go into Palestine. Bethlehem was beautiful they showed us a cave that would have been like the one our Lord was born in. The church was a little crazy to much stuff it was a Greek Orthodox. They had a star on the ground suppose to represent where Jesus was born but I thought the cave was nicer.
